Boston’s pop culture weekend is officially here. FAN EXPO Boston 2025, running August 8–10 at the newly renamed Thomas Michael Menino Convention & Exhibition Center (formerly BCEC), promises an immersive adventure through comics, film, gaming, cosplay, and everything in between.
A Cross-Genre Celebration of Fandom
FAN EXPO Boston is a multi-genre crossover playground—comics, anime, sci-fi, gaming, horror, plus family-friendly programming all under one massive roof. Every year, it draws roughly 55,000+ fans with panels, cosplay contests, vendors, games, and workshops galore.
Celebrity Guests Make It Epic
This year’s lineup is a serious draw. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen lead the Jedi Double-Feature event, appearing back-to-back for photo ops and autographs. Wrestling fans won’t be left hanging either—top-name wrestlers are signing and meeting on the show floor.
