Hey StyleLeeders, Happy Holidays, Happy Sunday and I think a Happy belated Christmas is well overdue!
I am super excited to share this simple holiday look with you. I spent this Christmas with my boyfriends family in Florida and on Christmas morning we woke up at a Marriott hotel and shot my Christmas day outfit in their newly renovated lobby. Shooting somewhere different really got my creative juices flowing and I’ve since realized I really need to start thinking more outside the box—2016 resolution in the making.
Now the weather in Florida is pretty damn near close to the warm ‘winters’ we have in Jamaica and since there was no chance of waking up to freshly fallen snow on Christmas morning I opted to wear a winter white outfit to make up for the lack of snow. Plus everyone else always resorts to wearing all black whenever the cold weather hits so I wanted to go the polar opposite for a flattering winter white effect.
I have been obsessed with midi dresses for some time now and they have been invading my closet more and more and more. Sometimes going a bit longer is a nice change and is actually pretty refreshing. When a midi dress is fitted I think it’s a lot sexier than than a tight mini dress that sometimes bares a bit too much. This effortlessly stylish white, midi dress made me feel age appropriate but with a touch of mature charm because the dress accentuates the hourglass shape while still being timeless and ladylike because of it’s perfect length.
My simple, form-fitting dress is from Boohoo and it is so freaking comfy and I can’t rave enough how perfectly fitting it is. To top things off, I can easily dress up or down this dress to wear to just about any event; brunch, girls night out, a cocktail party, a dinner date, you name it! I teamed my dress with animal print mules from Jessica Simpson and a bold ruby red lip inspired by Santa’s red suit.
How has your holidays been? I hope you’ve received all the gifts, love and happiness this Christmas season and I also hope you’ve shared and given with your loved ones as well. Wishing you a blessed final week for the year 2015! Talk Soon. Nuff Love, Natasha ♥
