Good morning loves! Just wanted say a quick hello and take this opportunity to share another one of my Ocean Style fashion weekend looks. Last Friday I attended the all-white soirée Eyes Wide Shut, held at the historic Rose Hall Great House. Designers Angel Sanchez and Lisa McIntosh of the Jamaican house Neahlis shared Friday night’s stage where they both showcased bridal couture and evening wear, which helped add a theatrical edge to the all-white fashion show.
No color is more fresh or crisp than white, so as I entered the event I immediately was awed by the head to toe white that graced the lawns on the Great House. The clean, monochrome white outfits resulted in an exceptionally stylish, high-impact event.
Now I knew everyone was expecting me to go the edgier route of wearing a white pants suit and blazer or the sporty-luxe look but I switched it up a bit and went for the Romantic All-White Look. Lace and pearls scream romance and glam so I paired my lace-flared white skirt over a simple white bodysuit. For a polished and flirty vibe I layered several pearl necklaces and cinched my waist in with a nude and pink skinny belt, which complimented my nude bag and sandals.
I can’t leave without sharing with you some of my favorite looks at the event. All white can be very intimidating to many, but these ladies pulled off the look with ease; proving there are several ways to rock the timeless hue.
