Good Morning to all my sweet StylishLeeders & Readers. I know I’ve said this many times before, but I’m saying it again…I am so thankful for each and everyone of you. Thank you for always being there and thank you for always being so supportive. I appreciate YOU! Soooo…who ate all the turkey yesterday? Leave a comment below and tell me what was your favorite thanksgiving meal you ate yesterday.
So the most anticipated fashion event of the year took place last weekend at the Pegasus Hotel and today I’m sharing with you what I wore to the Collection MoDa Runway Show. Last weekend I made a major discovery—I really have fallen in love with wearing jumpsuits. I didn’t notice it until my girlfriend at the show pointed it out to me and then it hit me…I’ve worn a jumpsuit outfit once every week since the beginning of October. Crazy I know. Why and how do I have so many? I have no clue lol. Normally, I think of myself as the type of gal to wear a dress or skirt at all costs when it comes to more formal or stylish events, but recently I’ve found a way to wear a jumpsuit to just about every occasion possible. They are just so bold and understated and I absolutely love that. Plus they’re super easy to pull on and head out the door.
For the very prestigious MoDa Runway I ditched wearing a typical dress for a strapless, navy-blue jumpsuit from Rachel Roy. Not only did my ensemble allow me to network comfortably after the event but it also allowed me to party all night without looking disheveled.
For my look, I added a matching navy blue blazer as a brilliant embellishment and also a belt in a contrasting but complimentary color to make my plain jumpsuit stand out just a tad bit more. I paired this one-piece wonder with my black, chunky-heel mules to give an illusion of longer legs and a matching navy blue clutch because we all know already that I’m ‘Miss Matchy-Matchy’ and monochromatic looks are just my thing .
