I got in to the office earlier than usual and I have a little free time on my hands. That said, I decided to use this time to put this blog post together for you. Plus I’ve also been sitting on these photos for weeks now and I think it’s about time I share them with you too.
Just over a month ago I was organizing my closet and stumbled upon what used to be one of my favorite tops to wear to class back in ‘uni’ days. Sadly I stood in awe when I realized the faux leather collar was peeling. Oh the horror! I literally sat on the floor in my closet trying to decide whether to hold on to a top that brings back fond memories. Or give it to someone who may need it more than I do. Well—decided I would be giving away the top along with a few other things to the daughter of a woman I purchase fruits from. But…I had to wear the top just one last time, so I wore the it the following day.
I had an informal business meeting to attend and opted to pair my sheer top with a black, midi, pleated skirt to add a bit of volume and sophistication to my look. Initially I had this top paired with high-waist denim pants but the sheerness of the top made me feel a bit underdressed (it was also a little too risqué). I could have easily worn a black tank top underneath my blouse but in this near 100° weather I just couldn’t afford to wear another layer of clothing. So I tucked my sheer, sleeveless top into my accordion pleated skirt and kept things along a classic black, monochromatic scheme. Lastly I added a splash of color with a contrasting red lip.
Hope you guys have an amazing day and a relaxing night! Talk Soon. Nuff Love, Natasha ♥
