Hey! I’m officially back in Jamaica and I’ve been busy preparing at my family home for hurricane Matthew. So I’m just sharing a quick #OOTD post with you guys today.
The day before my flight back home Manny insisted on taking me to dinner. My mood was at an all time low because I was not ready to leave and to make matters worst I was stumped on what to wear to our little dinner date. When in doubt I always go for black but I didn’t have a LBD on hand so I went bold and RED [may as well spice things up on my final night right?!].
When I received this choker dress in the mail, I instantly fell in love. The details of this dress just speaks for itself. I absolutely love the structured bust and the halter neck straps connecting to a high neck. This dress from Rare London hugs your body in all the right places and is the perfect balance of sexy and sophisticated.
Although I really loved how the dress clinged to my curves I have to admit, it is a very unforgiving dress. I quickly realized wearing it to dinner wasn’t the best idea because I looked 3 months pregnant when I was finished eating, haha.
I wanted the dress to be the focus of my look so I wore minimal jewelry and pulled my hair back into a sleek, high bun (see tutorial here). To finish off my look I slipped into a pair of killer, sexy ankle-strap heels for a more sultry look and I opted for nude heels over black to help create the illusion of longer legs.
All in all we had a beautiful evening at a restaurant in the Las Olas area called Grille 401. I’m so happy I gave in, got dressed up and went out that night because I ended up having an amazing time. I know I promised to get Manny in a few pictures but he really is camera shy and say’s till’ next time. So till’ next time my StyleLeeders!
For those of you in Jamaica or any country who may be affected by this hurricane please stay safe. Talk Soon. Nuff Love, Natasha ♥
