Hey StyleLeeders! Who else loves Japanese food? RAISE YOUR HANDS if you do!!! I’m raising both of mine…
Manny and I went for Japanese at the Kinero restaurant located at Iberostar Grand Hotel. We opted out of sitting front row seats at the Hibachi table with other guests and instead took a private table for two on the other end of the restaurant where there was less excitement.
I ate plenty of sushi and enjoyed a warm miso soup for starters. For main course Manny had a lobster with pineapple and shrimp curry that was full of savory flavors while I had fresh seafood prepared at the Teppanyaki grill. We both finished our dining experience with tempura bananas served with ice cream and warm chocolate drizzled on top. As usual there was far more food than we could manage but it all tasted amazing!
From our table we glanced over at the chefs at the Hibachi grill entertaining guests with their skills at balancing and juggling a bowl of rice, an egg and other items on their spatulas. We weren’t up close and personal but from what I could see it was quite the show! I personally preferred where we sat but if you want great food and entertainment, Kinero will not disappoint.
I was really excited for a date night with Manny so I went with a sexy white bodycon dress for dinner. I got this dress from Tia Clothes Girl a few months ago and I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to turn some heads and raise some temperatures when I wear it. Date night with Manny seemed like the perfect time! Well hello there, Ms. Sexy…haha!
I paired my mid-riff baring dress with some nude pumps and completed the look with a gold clutch for a knock out look.
Fun fact: I was told by one of the butlers at the hotel that ‘kiniro’ meant golden hour in Japanese. Yup you guessed it! That’s why I went with a gold clutch that night as opposed to a nude clutch as originally planned. Yeah, I’m cheesy like that, haha!
