REVIEW ¦ ORS Olive Oil Replenishing Pak

Okay, Okay, I really like this conditioner. Yes! I totally had to get it off my chest before even diving into this review. This used to be a staple product during my relaxed days, my texturized days and my transitioning days and it would always leave my hair soft and very moisturized without fail. I still can’t believe this is my first time using it since going natural. I guess after I big chopped, I became a product junkie and totally lost track of this ‘good up, good up ting.’

The product is thick and creamy, which is perfect for me and my super big hair because a little goes a long way (although I did need two packs). The thickness also made it adhere very well to my hair without dripping all over my neck and shoulders. It has a strong but pleasant citrus scent that did linger a bit after rinsing, but once I applied my moisturizers and leave-in’s, it totally disappeared.

I applied the deep conditioner generously in sections and used my fingers to evenly distribute the product to each strand of hair. As I covered each section I would also go through with a wide tooth comb. Once my entire head was coated, I used the little that remained and concentrated it onto the ends of my hair. I then covered my hair with a plastic cap and left it on for 45minutes and just as I expected my hair felt incredibly soft after washing the product out.

  • Leaves my hair moisturized
  • Immediately softens my hair and makes it more manageable
  • Helps make detangling my hair easy
  • Pleasant citrus scent
  • Very inexpensive & easily accessible (found at just about every drugstore)
  • Option to purchase sample packet or bottle

  • I honestly have no cons. I suppose I could say it’s not the absolute best deep conditioner I’ve ever used, but it certainly got the job done.

Overall, I got pretty good results from this product. A deep conditioner should leave your hair soft and that’s exactly what this does. My hair felt soft and slippery during application and also after rinsing, so I definitely give this two thumbs up, actually three because of how cheap the product is. If you are anything like me and sometimes get a bit absent minded when it comes onto moisturizing your hair then I’d definitely recommend this for you. Oh heck, I recommend this to everyone in general because it’s worth a try.

Have you used this deep conditioner before? If you have let me know in the comments below what you think of this product. Enjoy your weekend loves. XO Natasha ♥

Hi. I have a question. When u wash ur hair today and the following day ur staying in. Do u reapply a lil hair product the next day even though ur staying in? What do u do with it? I find that with my hair, (I have 3b-3c hair) on the second day if I’m staying in don’t like it out cause I may be doing chores or whatever so I put it in a pineapple, have my bonnet on or tie it up like how u do it with a scarf. And so with that the next day I lose all my curls. Its like they no existent, I have to really wet my hair all over again and put the products in it.

    Help needed!

Hey huni, What I do with my hair always depends on how my hair feels and looks. I listen to the needs of my hair basically. So I may wash my hair today, and although I’m staying in the next day it may look dull and feel super dry, in that case I would spritz my hair with some water and reapply some moistuizer and coconut oil. But lets say on day 2 my hair still looks great and feel good too then I’ll leave it up in a pineapple and carry on with my day. I do have days when I let my hair down and my curls look lifeless an I’ll just rewash and style my hair and this is something I don’t mind because I actually enjoy the process of washing my hair. Currently I’ve been using Cantu Leave-In Conditioner and Cantu Custard along with coconut oil and my wash and go’s last for 4-5 days, and my curls stay in tact much longer.
