Hey StyleLeeders!

An off-duty look always needs to be two things: comfortable and effortless. You just can’t go wrong with it because it’s the kind of outfit that you can pull on without even thinking twice about it. Don’t you just love that?

Whenever I opt for an ‘off-duty’ type of outfit I personally like looking super casual but still polished. Over the weekend Manny, my mom, my sister and I spent the day walking around on Lincoln Road in Miami to shop, sightsee and our favorite part, to EAT! It was simply an amazing day and I honestly can’t wait to do it all again.

Since we were going to be walking all day I wanted to be comfortable but because we were going to be down in MIAMI I still wanted to look effortlessly cute. Whenever I manage to put together such a comfortable and effortless look, I’m often reminded why having wardrobe staples like a simple black top and denim pants are so important. These are my fall back pieces. The backbone of my style. The pieces that I can always count on. The fillers! You get the gist right? As much as I love this black top tucked into my distressed, boyfriend style jeans, it’s also a piece I can use time and time again.

I genuinely think a simple black top can go far in anyones wardrobe. I opted to style mine with a great pair of boyfriend jeans that I picked up in Forever 21 a few weeks ago. I wanted to edge up my look just a bit, so just before heading out to eat that evening, I switched out my adidas sneakers for my new studded mules from Aldo.

I’ve also been wearing this fanny pack with everything lately. They go with my off-duty outfits and instantly makes everything look more modern and cool. I happened to find the one I’m wearing from Aldo during one of their recent 25% off everything sales. #SCORE!

Since the nights have been getting chillier here in Florida, I took my velvet blazer with me to not only keep me warm but also to balance out the huge holes in my pants! haha!!! The blazer is perfectly chic as well as cozy and it completely finished off my simple yet chic look.

What are your fall back pieces? Mine are definitely simple tops and denim pants. Share yours below. I’d love to know. Talk Soon. Nuff Love, Natasha ♥
