Hey StyleLeeders! Happy New Year!!!
I stepped out of my comfort zone a bit this year and did something totally different to ring in the new year. Usually I do one of two things, have a small get together at home and watch the fireworks on the balcony when the clock strikes 12, or I attend a huge N.Y.E. party put on by my friends. This year…I rang in the new year at Hedonism Hotel and it sure is a night I’ll forever remember.
If you remember, I was invited to their anniversary party (see post here)and made mention of how much fun I had at that event and planned to go back, well what better time to go to a ‘clothing optional’ hotel than on New Years Eve? Look, everything you’ve heard about Hedo is true! They live up to their reputation of throwing a great event that makes everyone feel welcome. The energy there is contagious and rest assured the entertainment hosts creates spectacular performances to bring in 2016! Once again I was very impressed, it truly was an unforgettable evening and will go down in my books as a night I’ll be sure to talk about for years to come.
My New Years Eve Outfit
It’s pretty self explanatory what a ‘clothing-optional’ resort means…you choose whether you want to wear clothes or NOT! You can either push the boundaries and go bold and free, show a little skin or simply cover it all up. Now when I decided that I was going to attend Hedonisms New Years Eve Party I knew I wanted an outfit that was at least sexy but still leaving a little something to the imagination. I found the perfect new years eve outfit on NastyGal; a rose-gold, metallic dress by Rare London that highlighted my décolletage area but was still sleek and classy.
I rang in the new year wearing a metallic finish dress that gave the sweet blush shade a sassy attitude adjustment. I actually think this dress was very simple, but it made a statement because of the metallic finish and because it has some sex appeal with the low cut and the body hugging fit. Instead of excessively adding accessories, I focused on subtler details like these pumps and also my iridescent clutch. My dress was already making quite a statement so I went light on makeup and focused on healthy glowing skin and went with a mauve lip color that really surprised me because it lasted throughout the night!
How did you spend New Years Eve? Leave a comment below! I really want to know how my readers rang in 2016!!! No matter what you did I hope it was spent with friends and family who bring love and happiness into your lives. All the best this year, lets all make it a good one!
