Hey StylishLeeders…Well, here we go again Friday! Friday! Friday! I’m back, I’m back! The last weeks have been quite intense and I just did not have time to sit down and work on the blog! But hey I have good news: I’ve already prepared some new looks for you sooooo…very soon you will find more inspiration on the blog again!
With the temperatures soaring in Jamaica I pulled out a few neutral and hot weather appropriate pieces I picked up on my last trip to Florida. So I was walking in the mall and once again a stores window display lured me in. It was this nude bandage skirt that was somehow making the model-figure mannequin, standing in the BCBG shop window look as if she just had a few butt injections lol. I couldn’t resist, so I ran into the store, pulled one off the rack and went straight to the changing rooms. I tried it on and BAM!!! The skirt was magical. It literally placed emphasis on my oh so desired silhouette thanks to the body-hugging bandage skirt. Thank you BCBG!!! It was quite a splurge so my pockets were hurt and empty but my body was shouting YES! YES! YES!
You’ve just got to love neutral outfits! I know I do & I know you know I do too haha! & don’t get me wrong I truly do enjoy trying out new looks every now and then, but my love lies with all things monochromatic. They’re very classy and easy to wear and everything looks so well-put together. A neutral outfit is always a safe option if you haven’t got the time to really plan out and color coordinate another outfit. On another note, neutral outfits can sometimes look boring and plain, so to prevent this I added a pop of color by pairing my look with pink heels and hot pink lips.
On top I went cropped! Sounds revealing but really it wasn’t. A high waisted pencil skirt and crop top are a perfect combo. The key for rocking this style is all about proportion. To balance my top, I wore the nude high waisted skirt on the bottom. That way, only a flash of my midriff was showing keeping my look feeling sophisticated and sexy at the same time. Talk Soon Loves, XOXO Natasha!
