Maxi Dress, Minimal Effort

Hey StyleLeeders! Coming to you this Friday with another effortless outfit post. Don’t you just love a maxi dress? The length and shapes of most maxi’s makes them always so easy to throw on for just about any occasion. Winter may be approaching fast and this sort of effortless dressing is perfect for hot summer days, but we all should know by now that I live in ‘warm weather all-year-round JAMAICA!’

I got this grey maxi dress from Miakalani and it most definitely ticked all my check boxes. Somehow this simple dress has become one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe because it’s such an easy piece to throw on and an easy gimmick to look chic. What I like most about this particular maxi dress is how figure flattering it is. I felt so sexy wearing this dress and I was basically covered up from ‘head-to-toe’. Maxi dresses are pretty simple and I actually look on them as a blank canvas that can either be dressed up or down. For this look I wanted to stay pretty minimal because I wanted the focus to be solely on the dress. I went with a silver choker necklace that I got from Revolve Clothing (similar), David Yurman bracelets, a small clutch that I got from Asos (similar) and my barely there Stuart Wietzman heels.

So the weather has been changing in most areas, and I send lots of love and warm hugs your way. If you want to attempt wearing a maxi dress this season wear leg warmers and a thick tank top below and layer above with a stylish coat. Oh & skip the sandals and go for sneakers or boots. Talk Soon. Nuff Love, Natasha ♥
