How I changed my weekend outfit from Day to Night.
Hey lovebugs, I hope all is swell. ♥
Have you ever had two events to attend in one day with no time to get home and change? If you have then you might know a thing or two about how challenging it can be to dress for both. Well, today I present to you a simple yet stylish idea on how to wear one fashion piece in two different situations.
So, I had this stellar opportunity to attend an invitational tennis match one lovely Saturday afternoon. I got there pretty much at the right time 2.pm!!! but if you know anything about Jamaicans and time…we don’t know it. So of course I was super early…so early they didn’t even begin setting up for the match. Nonetheless, I used the time to take a few pics hehe (hence the empty tennis court…empty sidelines…well empty everything).
For the day event I went super chill and casual by wearing this matching separates outfits that I got from Romwe. I wanted to be as comfortable as possible so I went with my Forever21 white sneaker wedges and threw on one of my fave mirror-framed sunnies.
Anyways the first tennis match didn’t start until 5pm…didn’t end til 8pm…and well cocktails, socializing and the works, lasted til’ about 11pm. Now I always had this gut feeling that I would be cutting it short on time, and may not be able to get home to change. Luckily I planned ahead of time and had a few kick-knacks to help jazz up my outfit a bit.
If you make the right combinations you can easily look amazing by changing just a few details of your day outfit to your night. Shorts might seem like a casual approach, but teamed with a bright lippie and winged eye liner, tan booties for contrast and gold chunky jewelry, the look is so P.M. and ready for a night of clubbing with friends.
