I know, I know, this post is long overdue but here it is—my thoughts on the Manetabolism Vitamins! For my gals & gents who may have missed it, I purchased 2 bottles of these vitamins sometime in April of this year and I popped my first pill on May 1, 2016 (see post HERE). I made a commitment to stick to these vitamins for 2 months and midway through I decided to get a third bottle. I realized I needed at least 3 months to put these vitamins to the test and well…here are my thoughts.
Does it work? Are the claims of having longer, thicker and healthier hair true?
Whenever I’m trying out anything of this nature I always go in with pretty average expectations. Just so I wouldn’t be too bummed if I didn’t have hair like Rapunzel by the end of month 3. Well, after 3 months just as expected I did not have Rapunzel length hair! Shocking I know. But I can say that I did experience a ‘little’ more growth than normal for my hair. Yes only a ‘little’. I get it, everyone’s results will vary but I also don’t want to sell you a dream that may not come true. Because if we all follow the majority of reviews out there claiming much longer and thicker hair, some of us may just be let down. So yes these vitamins did work…just a ‘little’.
This was my biggest concern when I decided to start taking these pills. I’ve come a long way with my skin and the last thing I wanted was to end up back at square one, battling acne on my face and back. So I upped my water intake over these 3 months to help ease my mind. After month 1 my skin remained pretty much in the same condition as when I started. By month 3 I did have a few small bumps on my forehead but generally I get these small breakouts a few times a year. So I can’t quite tell whether the vitamins caused this or not. All in all I can honestly say my skin got no better or worst while taking the Manetabolism Hair Growth Vitamins.
Additional Side Effects
Okay first things first, lets address my nails! Boom Baby! My nails were growing almost too fast and they were also much stronger. I’m pretty ‘Plain Jane’ with my nails. I keep them short and natural but every now and then I’ll throw on some polish (yuh know, for special occasions & stuff). I’m not fussy about my nails mostly because they break easily. So when I noticed that my nails were long and not snapping off I immediately knew it had something to do with these vitamins. If only I had the same results with my hair.
I did not experience any other side effects while taking these vitamins. I’ve read reviews of ladies saying their brow game was suddenly ‘ON FLEEK’ because of these hair growth vitamins. But unfortunately there was no growth spurt on my brows. Womp, Womp!
I swallowed my last Manetabolism pill on July 31, 2016 and although my results were ‘sort of’ encouraging I opted not to place another order for these vitamins. I’ve read and watched numerous reviews, all of which claimed these vitamins made their hair grow drastically much longer. I do understand that everyone’s results will vary but somehow I feel like people may be exaggerating their results. My hair did grow a bit more than the norm but it wasn’t that much to make me want to continuously purchase these vitamins.
Nonetheless, I am still very happy that I gave these hair growth vitamins a shot. I can’t fully say whether the vitamins were the only reason my hair improved but my hair did reflect a SLIGHT increase in growth and thickness while taking these vitamins. So I do recommend them for anyone interested in trying them because it may just work magic in your hair. Plus I did not see any adverse affects from taking these vitamins, so it really won’t hurt to give them a try.

P.S. I wish I had photos to show you. But I was just so over it by the time I finished the third bottle of these vitamins. I also recently cut a bit of my hair off so lets just say I’m back at this same length (if not shorter) in the pic above.
