Lounging

Hey StyleLeeders! Any weekend plans? Or are you lounging around? Well if you’re doing the latter, please raise your hands if you like wearing oversized tee’s, sweats or leggings at home? Everyone right? Now how many of you wear these exact pieces almost daily because you see no point in looking put together at home? I bet you’re relating to everything I say right now. Yeah, I used to be just like that too.

In the past, I would pretty much only wear ‘ratty’ old, oversized tees when I was home. But I no longer do that! At least I try not to do it as often. Not only has this made me look better physically but it has allowed me to feel better mentally. Whenever I opt to stay in my pajamas all day I’ve noticed I’m less productive because I’m unable to snap out of that ‘sleep state of mind.’ When I take a few extra minutes to get dressed into something cute but still VERY comfortable it helps me to get into the right frame of mind to spend my day doing useful things. Plus, looking put together when your husband comes home after a long day earns me bonus points, wink, wink!

I feel like we often talk about what to wear for special occasions. But because the likelyhood of anyone seeing us on our day off at home is slim to none, we all just throw on anything that’s comfortable. Well how about looking cute but still comfortable, willing to give it a try? I think the eaisest and simplest way is to start by wearing neutral, calm colors. Think white, grey, nude, soft blues & pinks. This will help give the illusion of a clean and tidy appearance. And depending on your personal style, your loungewear options can range from, a maxi dress, mini dress, jumper, cute joggers or even a gym suit.

So Yes!!! You can definitely wear loungewear 24/7 and still look cute too. I picked up this striped one-piece jumper while walking around in Forever 21 last summer. After wearing it a few times out to the beach, shopping and over to my girlfriends house, this piece has now been added to my loungewear outfits to wear at home. Or for days when I have a quick errand to run. It’s wearable, makes a cute statement and it is super comfortable and perfect to lounge around in at home. The best part is how forgiving this piece actually is. It hugs your figure in all the right places and hides your stomach if you ate too much, haha!

Let me know in the comment section below what you like to wear when in the comfort of your home. Talk Soon. Nuff Love, Natasha ♥
