Hello, hello…how was your weekend? Did you do anything out of the ordinary? Well whatever you did I hope it was amazing. As for me I was able to attend an event on Sunday, ‘Lets Do Brunch’ for International Women’s Day. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful event, and I was surrounded by inspiring, influential and very beautiful women an we were all there to celebrate each other. I felt so lucky to be in such a comfortable atmosphere where I could network with several other women while also raising funds for a worthy cause. By the time I got home I felt completely recharged; my creative side was awakened. It’s amazing how being around positive minds can leave you so inspired and so content. ♥
& as for this beautiful dress by Brittish-Jamaican designer Sandra Kennedy…it not only looked fab and elegant but I also felt very confident in it. When I think of women going out to brunch this is exactly the type of outfit I envision & with spring just weeks away I felt very much on trend in this floral print dress. Now…we all should know by now, I am ‘Queen Matchy-Matchy’ so obviously I stayed within a pinky-nude color scheme. I paired my dress with my nude pumps from Steve Madden, cinched in my waist with a matching skinny belt and topped everything off with a lovely mauve clutch from Rebecca Minkoff (sold out-sorry).
As women we should forever be inspiring ourselves and others to be the best version of ourselves. I love seeing women empowering other women, because this sort of reinforcement allows us to realize that we are capable of doing amazing things. Try not to be selfish, learn to share your knowledge, spread the wealth, inspire, motivate and learn to support another sister.
I Love you guys so much, and I can’t express enough just how much I appreciate each and everyone of you. For you to visit me here all the time means so much to me and trust me when I say that I read every single one of your comments, I get all of your emails and I feel so blessed to know that I’m able to inspire you. But I really am here to thank you. As a fashion blogger in Jamaica, sometimes it gets a little disheartening to continue when people constantly ask things like “whats the point?” or “how is it benefiting you?” & my answer all stems from YOU. It warms my heart to know that a tip I shared worked or a simple outfit post could brighten your day. So thank you for pushing me to keep up this blog more and more everyday. ♥ Although International Women’s Day has come and gone, I want us to all to continue to support each other. I also want you to tell me who inspires you, who motivates you or who supports you to be the best person you can be. Leave a comment below or tweet me @stylishleeds. Nuff Love. XO Natasha ♥
