A Hideaway at Royalton Negril

So I want you to close your eyes for just a minute. Imagine the sun slowly warming your skin. As its rays creep along the contours of your body. The ocean so close you can hear the sound of the waves crashing along the shore line and taste the salt in the air. The chill of your toe touching the swim out pool from your room. With the icy margarita in hand, you take your first sip while in paradise. Sounds like a little slice of heaven, right?

Well, that’s pretty much exactly what my mom and I were looking for when we booked a girls weekend for myself, her and my younger sister to celebrate our birthdays. Yes, we are all Libra & September gals [I’m the 26th, Mom & Dan are the 29th]. So it’s a custom for us to always celebrate our birthdays together.

As we researched resorts, we discovered that Royalton had recently opened another luxury, all-inclusive resort in Negril and we couldn’t resist the urge to test them out. Best decision ever!!!

The moment we made our way into the lobby of the hotel I realized it was a lot bigger than I had imagined. The hotel is split into four sections creating something for everyone—The Family Pool, Main Pool, Diamond Club and Hideaway (adults only). While we waited to be checked in, Danielle, Mom and I used the time to look over the crystal clear glass that surrounded the lobby which made us feel as though we were floating over the Caribbean Sea. From our vantage point, the grounds of the resort looked impeccable. Personally, I also loved just how picture-perfect the resort was [finding a spot for a photo was EASY]. By the time we were ready to go explore the hotel grounds in its entirety, our personal butler Dorris, greeted us and showed us the way to our rooms.

We’d only been at the hotel for less than an hour and already I knew we made a great decision. The overall level of service was top notch and already the amenities were exceeding my expectations. Beyond the staff and picturesque grounds, the best part about Royalton was hands down the accommodations! There are two different tiers: Diamond Club, and the regular all-inclusive. Since we were celebrating 3 birthdays in 1, we opted for the Diamond Club for the extra perks [like your own personal butler].

Our suite was amazing, and more than we could have asked for in a hotel room. The open plan concept of the room allowed us to see a full span of the room as our butler opened the doors. Immediately we went into ‘oohs & aahhs’ as our eyes met with the floor to ceiling windows that gave us a full view of our private infiniti swim-out pool. The room itself had a dual-waterfall shower, a deep soaker tub and dual vanities, adjoined by lush beds and a very spacious living area. It was the perfect place to let go and unwind. And that we did…

Since this was a girls trip all about relaxation we mostly spent our time, in bed, in the swim-out pool or eating, haha!

Speaking of eating, throughout our days we chowed down at the Gourmet Marché International Buffet and over three evenings we dined at Zen [Teppanyaki], Dorado [Seafood] and Gratzie [Italian] restaurants. Our fave restaurant was definitely Dorado which none of us expected, but the dining experience, decor and service blew us away. The best part? Every night after dinner while we were away from our rooms, the maid service swung by to turn down our beds, change the lighting and pretty much set us up for bed. And after a night of excellent food and full stomachs I certainly didn’t mind returning to my room with the beds already turned down, waiting for me to tuck myself in.

Royalton Negril definitely exceeded my expectations. We wanted a space where we could escape, eat & drink as much as our heart desired and where our only worry would be whether the hotel would grant us a late evening check-out [& yes they did]. We honestly could not have asked for more. From impeccable accomodations, daily & nightly activities, friendly staff, pristine grounds, free flowing drinks and amazing food, Royalton has everything you could ever want in an all-inclusive resort.

If you’re on the hunt for a luxury resort in Negril Jamaica, I highly recommend Royalton Negril or Hideaway [adults only]. It was a weekend where I was able to catch up on much needed rest while spending time with two of the most important women in my lives. We’ve all agreed to book another weekend there for 2018!!! It was an absolute dream and I can’t wait to go back. Talk Soon. Nuff Love, Natasha ♥

Hey Simone! Thanks a mil. I actually didn’t link them because I’ve had them all for over 4+ years but the full piece swimsuits are from Tillys.com. Nuff Love, Sim. Cheers.
