So we are going to have a bit of fun today by playing with prints and patterns while staying within a grey scale color scheme. I mixed varying geometric patterns in my outfit and although the prints in every piece of clothing I’m wearing are all different, the colors remain within the same color pallet making it appear more uniformed. Now this may be a wee bit too much for a man like Christian Grey but all the lines found within these particular prints bring to mind ‘cages and rope’. So it may not be too much for him after all.
Mixing prints to me is a fine-art and trying to find unique ways to interpret the trend can sometimes be a bit intimidating. Luckily for us we are using the most timeless of color schemes, consisting of grey, white and black, and this makes mixing prints super easy. The prints within my outfit are so simple it’s almost like I’m wearing a neutral (at least to me it still feels like that lol). The oversize grid print top, mixed with the thinly striped cardigan and a plaid skirt totally shows how using prints of varying sizes completely brings the outfit together. What do you think?
