The OVERSIZED White Jumpsuit

White-Jumpsuit-StylishLeeHey hunnies! Happy Friday! So I was contemplating whether or not I should post this look because in all honesty I wasn’t satisfied with the outfit at all. It’s by a local designer here in Jamaica, but the fit was just a bit off for my liking. Now don’t get me wrong, you know I’m a sucker for everything easy breezy, and I’m also a huge fan of over sized anything. What I don’t like is when clothes look like I borrowed in from someone!!! I like my pieces tailored even if I’m rocking an outfit 2/3 sizes larger.

Now you may be asking why did I even bother to wear this piece if I wasn’t feeling 100% about it…well, for one I had an all white event to attend, secondly, for the first time ever I can honestly say I had nothing else to wear!!! I’m being serious okay! Like I really think promoters and event planners really need to come up with something other than an all white theme because I’ve attended so many that I’m officially out of white attire, apart from my handy-dandy white tee! Oh & hunny, believe me…when I realized this jumpsuit didn’t fit me quite right I ran and grabbed my tee to find ways to style it, but you know those days when everything is going wrong?…I was having one of those!!!! From the 50 (okay more like 6) different styles of white t-shirts that I own I could not find ONE! So yea, this is why I still went with this outfit!

White-Jumpsuit-STYLISHLEEConsidering that jumpsuits in general aren’t exactly the most flattering (especially mine in this case) I think I somehow managed to still look pretty sleek. Mostly because I stuck with a monochromatic color scheme. I ditched wearing too much accessories and instead completed the look by painting bold bright red on my lips with hopes that it would take some of the attention away from the too-BIG-jumpsuit. One thing I can say…boy oh boy I sure was comfy! haha! I ate so much FOOOOD and not a soul in the room could tell that my stomach was exploding LOL! Oh & as usual I went with my vintage cat-eye sunnies and finished everything off with a quirky snow leopard print bucket bag.

What do you do when you’re in a stylin’ rut? Leave a comment below…Talk soon lovies!!! Nuff Love, Natasha ♥

    Hi Natasha,

I enjoyed reading the post on your blog. I especially like your “easy breezy style”. Continue the great worK!

Now that is summer and in most islands there will be many beach/pool parties as well as catamaran cruises.I was wondering if u can do a post on beach wear and cover-ups. Detailing how one can look effortlessly fashionable while attending these events.

I look forward to your response. Thank you!!

Hey love, thank you! and thats a great idea! my only issue it I will be away from home quite frequently in both June and July, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to cover a post on this! I’ll try but no promises. but heres a quick tip….I’m not sure how it’s done over on your island but here in Jamaica we have photography Facebook pages where pictures from parties/events are posted. I always skim through these pics as a source of inspiration for outfits for a particular event.
