Jami Lake Fall/Winter 2016 Collection
Minimalism: The New Feminine
Hey StyleLeeders, so today I’m doing something a little different. I share so much of myself so today I’m instead sharing with you pieces from an emerging Jamaican designer Jami Lake. I’ve said this a few times now but I’m saying this again! I Natasha Lee, will forever be all about brand Jamaica. So when an opportunity presents itself for me to share something that has a tag attached to it labeled “Made In Jamaica” I immediately accept.
Her name? Jami Lake. A Jamaican gal who’s soul is just as beautiful as her smile. I’m not just saying this because she also happens to be a dear friend of mine, but because she genuinely is the one of the sweetest persons I know….& it’s time for the world to see what she has to offer!
Now I for one have always gravitated towards simple, refined pieces, and I think the majority of women out there may feel the same. This is why I love this collection so much…the designs are totally catered towards practical fast-fashion or the everyday woman who wants to look fashion-forward and effortless. The little black dress and wide leg trousers are current must have pieces that nod to minimalism & Jami has definitely elevated these all time favorite wardrobe basics. In all honesty I think there’s a pretty fine line between simple and boring and that’s because the simplest things are the hardest to find. Luckily I found it (or her) right here in my own country! Peep some of my fave pieces from her Fall/Winter 2016 collection below.
