black-off-the-shoulder-top-outfit-ideas-natashaleeds-stylishleeHappy Hump Day!

Where do I even begin? Wow, what a whirlwind weekend! I wore this outfit to dinner with my family to celebrate my Dads birthday! We dined at the Fusion Asian restaurant at the Hyatt Ziva Hotel and watched the very talented chefs prepare our meals right before our eyes. My Dad is the true definition of a foodie so after chowing down and drinking way too many Sake Bombs we made our way over to the Italian restaurant, DiRoza! Did I think it was possible to eat anything else for the night? NO! But Dad sure did, haha. I’m just happy he enjoyed his birthday. I wish I had photos to share with you but I forgot to charge my camera and realized a little too late.

Anyways, what I wore. So I’ve joined the cold shoulder team! A few weeks ago I mentioned that you really can never go wrong wearing all black (see post HERE). It’s timeless, classic and is a foolproof way to look effortlessly put together. Well an easy way to take your all black ensemble to the next level is by showing a little skin in an unexpected place. So for my gals out there who don’t have the guts to wear crop tops and short-shorts this one’s for you. An off-the-shoulder top is a sure-fire way to show some skin without looking scandalous. I like to think of showing a hint of shoulder like getting a sneak peak but not the entire package.

While everyone else up North has started to layer and cover up, it’s still nice and warm here. So as long as the sun is out so will my shoulders. I’ve been obsessing over the off-the-shoulder trend for quite some time. But now I have so many shoulder baring tops and dresses that I’ve officially made it a wardrobe staple of mine.

I picked up this off-the-shoulder top from Boohoo a few weeks ago and I loved it so much I went ahead and ordered it in white too. The best part about these monochromatic pieces? I’ll be able to wear it time and time again without anyone ever noticing. Plus, the top itself is extremely versatile so I’ll be pairing it with jeans and heels one day and shorts and gladiator sandals on a more casual day. I can’t wait!

Since the dress code for the night was casually elegant I opted to wear all black to make the laid-back silhouette of my top feel more sophisticated. I paired it with matching black capris so I could show a little sliver of leg, black pumps and a statement Aldo bag. To ‘zhush’ up my look I popped on my Quay Sunnies and turned an old head band into whats now my new favorite choker (sometimes you just gotta improvise).

Thoughts? Leave a comment below and tell me whether you’re here for the off-the-shoulder trend? YAY or NAY? Talk Soon. Nuff Love, Natasha ♥

Hi Marce, Thank you. I see your point. But believe it or not, back break outs have been my biggest skincare issue since High School. Over the summer I actually had a pretty bad break out and now I’m trying to deal with the scarring it has left behind. Still trying to find something to beat it but no luck.

As usual you do no wrong from head to toe. Use 100% pure Rosehip Seed Oil for scarring. Should see some results in about 2 weeks.
