YING YANG- Black & White Fashion

Hey loves, Happy Monday. 🙂

I still can’t express enough how much I appreciate all the positive feedback received on the blog. Believe me when I say that it was the greatest birthday gift I was given all weekend…Love, Support, Positivity, Encouragement, Comfort, Reassurance… I could go on and on. But thank you, thank you, thank you. Being able to inspire one person is enough to keep me going. 😉

Also a big thank you for all the birthday wishes; it was a bit overwhelming because I didn’t realize just how much support and love I had.

Now onto the goo stuff, I mean thats what you’re here for…RIGHT?

Cheers to an amazing birthday weekend and also to my first outfit post (raise your glasses please). It wasn’t your average birthday weekend of extreme partying, it was instead a weekend spent with good friends, family and laughter. From lunch and dinner dates with close friends to a day spent home cooking with family and watching movies. It was a weekend of BLISS. Nonetheless I did do a little something extra yesterday with my younger sister Danielle (who’s birthday is TODAY BTW), and I got a chance to put together a ‘stylishlee‘ appropriate outfit.

You can never go wrong with Black&White

There is something that is reassuring about clean, simple, black and white…Pattern play, logical stripes, geometrics and figure flattering lines all had their part to play in this ‘stylishlee’ story. The look which I put together is modern, cool, sexy and assertive…Perfect for the Birthday Gal! 🙂 You see, I’ve had this daring yet classy bodysuit since summer and I just never had the opportunity to wear it, and hey! what better time to wear this bold piece than on my birthday weekend!

I teamed this Black&White VanityBodies bodysuit with a checkered bottom and tied the look together by throwing over a classic white blazer. I introduced a pop of color, with my heels and handbag to create a greater impact for this look and added an extra punch with a slick of hot pink lipstick.

Please Enjoy…

Remember A Black and White palette doesn’t have to boring.

I styled DanDan yesterday before heading out and we were totally able to nail several fall trends in one outfit while still sticking to our black and white palette—the faux leather vest, statement graphic-tee, and edgy combat boots. I wanted us to be both wearing monochromatic looks but unique to each of our styles. Mine taking the chic route while hers a more edgy and androgynous feel. Although her look was much more simpler than mine Dan still looked ‘stylishlee’ dressed in her nearly all-black.

I LOVE YOU DANIELLE. Happy Birthday. You can find her HERE.

Until Next Time…Stay Stylishlee Dressed. ♥♥♥

I absolutely love this look. Makes me miss home and the freedom to wear whatever regardless of weather and you just motivated me to get back into the gym cause I if I wanna recreate this look for my birthday I need to get a head start on that.

Thank you hun. I’m happy you like. Yes the weather here does allow quite a bit more freedom than those who experience fall and winter (I’m actually quite thankful for that since I hate the cold lol). Good luck on the gym, even when you don’t want to….force yourself to go. 24hours in a day and you only need to set out 30mins to an hour for the gym. 🙂

Simply gorg…….. a very interesting contrast of black & white interms of pattern(Top vs bottom. Very few people can pull this off and you did so effortlessly. The pop of green topped it off so beautifully….#YesDarling!
